Welcome

Below you will find selection of sound micro-interventions developed at research group Authentic Leadership.

EXERCISE 1 – THEME: RELEASING TENSION AND VOICE CONTROL

Our voice is a vital element of our presence. How we project it, what control we have over it and how we feel about it can influence our daily interactions. Often times, unknowingly, we create both physical and mental tension in the voice projection area. Awareness of that tensions and release can have broad benefits. Participants reported reduced muscular tension. Some participants found the exercise difficult.

EXERCISE 2 – THEME: AUDITORY IMAGINATION

This exercise invites you to start expanding your imagination. By gently building awareness of the surrounding world, you will experience heighten ability to perceive, to be present and to be aware. Some participants reported increased focus and increased opens to new experiences.

This exercise will invite you to go outside if possible. It might be more difficult if you are using silent disco set, as the signal might not reach outside. If you are listening to this exercise on your own device, feel free to experience it outside.

EXERCISE 3 – THEME: EMBODED IMAGINATION

Group of exercises training coordination of various body movements as well as controlled sound and used in combination give an increase self-awareness of voice, spatial awareness as well as expanded imagination of physical presence.
